Dr. Goldenberg shares her excitement about the use of social media in reaching and empowering people affected by rare conditions, helping them to find better care and improve their quality of life. Her Facebook group serves pediatric and adult patients with conditions of the 22nd chromosome including 22q11 deletion syndrome (DiGeorge, VCFS), 22q11 distal deletion, 22q11 duplication, cat eye syndrome, and other more rare conditions.
